It is common knowledge about the underrepresentation of women in tech, but we have yet to truly understand how much progress we are making as the years pass. 

That is why we created the Gender Diversity in Software Engineering report in 2022 to provide quantitative resources for companies interested in starting diversity hiring initiatives or that want to augment their current plans. 

We hope by releasing the 2023 edition during these uncertain economic times, women software engineers will continue to be a priority for every company’s hiring plans and we’ll all move closer to gender parity. 

The report is built on a talent graph of 10M+ software engineers in North America, augmented by proprietary machine learning algorithms to understand each individual’s background and career progression.
